Middle Eastern Dinner September 21
On Sunday, September 21, 2014, our kombucha will be available for purchase by the glass at St. George Greek Melkite Catholic Church's Middle Eastern Dinner. Located at 1516 W. State Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the church will be a part of the Doors Open Milwaukee event going on throughout the weekend. The Middle Eastern Dinner begins serving at noon and will also include a benefit auction. The menu will include kafta, riz bi djaaj, foul moudammas, hummus, and Middle Eastern Salad. Pay at the door: adults $13, children 12 and under $7. For more information, call 414-342-1543.
Come on out and bid on a Morning Star Family Farm gift basket, plus enjoy our popular Strawberry Lemonade Kombucha at just $2 for a 12 ounce glass. Proceeds go to preserving the church and its rich tradition of carrying on Middle-Eastern culture in downtown Milwaukee.

Fondy Farm Feast a Success!

2014 Fondy Farm Feast
Who doesn't love a good, wholesome fundraiser? See below for information from the Fondy Farmers' Market webpage about their big shindig coming up on the 24th of August. Chef Greg Leon will be serving pork from our organic-fed hogs. Yum! To sign up, follow the link above.
Imagine the abundance of a Wisconsin farm on a late August evening: tall corn, bursting tomatoes, bright peppers, sprawling squash vines, and fireflies darting among the plants. Now add in a delicious, multi-course meal prepared by Milwaukee's finest farm-to-table chefs, cocktails, and dessert and you've got yourself a Fondy Farm Feast. Please join us as we celebrate food and community at the 2014 Fondy Farm Feast.
Date and Time: Sunday, August 24, 2014 3:30 pm- twilight (Farm tours begin at 3:30 pm; dinner begins at 5:15 pm). Event takes place rain or shine.

Tickets:* $125 per person, advance purchase only.
In addition to an amazing meal, the Fondy Farm Feast includes tractor-led farm tours, conversations with chefs and farmers, and great local music. Free parking on the farm. Dress is farm casual: jeans and boots are just fine! All guests receive a commemorative 2014 Feast glass.
Diners have a choice of vegan, vegetarian, or no preference. You will be asked to indicate your dietary preference when you purchase on-line.
All proceeds benefit Fondy Food Center and its programs – Fondy Farmers Market (2200 W. Fond du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee) and Fondy Farm (Port Washington).
